How to use Notes

Share secrets quickly, securely, and without a trace.

Impenetrable Stash

Enter your message in the "Note" tab. Military-grade AES-256 encryption happens instantly in your browser, even before it reaches the server.

Access Key

Set a strong password or seed phrase. Remember: SmoldPaper does not store your keys and has no access to data, so recovering a forgotten password is impossible.

Start Smoldering

Choose the message's lifespan. You can turn it to ashes right after the first read or set an auto-delete timer.

Combustion

Copy the link and send it to the recipient. In "1x" mode, the note will be permanently wiped by the server the second it's opened, or in 24 hours if unread.
